[Day 21] ''Tell Me Something I Don't Know''

[Day 21 and I did not have access to a scale, so no weight for today]

Ahhhh some of my friends are just simply rude to me and mean and that makes them SUCK! The word DIET ... or really anything with the word in it equals BULL$#!! to me. This is NOT a diet that I'm on. And I'm sick and tired of my "so called friends" saying "ohhh it's just a diet you can re-start tomorrow". Well I'm sorry to say it's NOT a DIET for me it's my new way of life. I just want to say ... leave me alone sometimes!! All I can do is smile and tell them that a DIET is temporary, what I'm doing is not temporary.

Here's a song that helps me keep focus on my goals and keeps all that negativity out.

I'm luv'in my workouts, it's funny because I use to be the girl who hated to workout and all I really did was count calories. And was the first one to jump on anything that was a "quick fix" I was a sucker to all the mumbo-jumbo like fad diets, diet pills, starvation and all that infomercial garbage. And you know what I've learned ... was that NONE OF THAT CRAP WORKED and it reeked havoc on my body a very bad lessons I have had to learn over the years.

I love challenging my body with "real food" and "real training". Running is such great therapy for me!! Great things are never easy, if they were everyone would be doing it. I want to say THANK YOU to my loving and supportive husband and all my new blogger friends. I appreciate you and all your words of encouragement.

  1. It can be so frustrating when people are trying to push food on you! My co-workers are always like, "Just eat the cake, you are already a twig!". Grr if I wanted to eat it I would have...

Stay strong girlie...you will have a rockin bod to shove in their faces!

  2. YES! I hate when I have to deal with food pushers, too!! You are achieving your goals and they can't always see that...or they don't want to. you have the right attitude about it!

  3. [Therese] & [Becca] Thank you both for your comments, it is a sucky day when my own family and friends try to make me feel bad or ungrateful for not eating crap. However I'm learning to politely say "no thank you" I wont go into detail about what I'm doing anymore with any of my friends or family members because it seems that when I do they go all crazy on me like I'm going to starve if I don't eat that piece of cake or cupcake. However what they don't see is that I eat allot ever 3 hours perfectly portioned and balanced meals. I just chop it up and say to myself "they're crazy and miss-informed" ha ha ha (cause I've tried and tried to explain it to them but it always goes in one ear and out the other with them and well that sucks when people don't listen or get it).
